ABOUT IMADI:
Imadi provides comprehensive support to families living with a complex pediatric health diagnosis. Currently in our second year of operations, we are now engaging more than 100 families in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Program Coordinator at imadi is responsible for providing imadi’s signature creative programming to nearly 100 families living in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and throughout the Greater Washington area. The successful Program Coordinator will create an annual catalog of programs that will engage each individual in the family. The Program Coordinator will be supervised by the Executive Director.
Experience:
Leadership role coordinating or overseeing programming
Skills and Qualities
Enthusiastic about cultivating an engaged high school student volunteer base.
Graphic design (Adobe Photoshop or Canva) preferred
Highly creative
Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented and well organized, takes pride in their work
PROGRAM COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Create incredible programs for our families.
Create an annual programming calendar for our clients and ensure that each member of the family is being effectively and consistently engaged throughout the year by programming that speaks to them.
Thoughtfully engage high school student volunteers to empower them to take an active role in imadi’s programming.
Create impactful programs for the community
Assist in the coordination of community fundraisers such as imadi’s annual Golf Tournament, CauseMatch Campaign, and local parlor meetings.
Oversee all Bnei Mitzva Projects
Cultivate community partnerships to support imadi’s programming.
Solicit and procure in-kind donations for events and programs from vendors and venues
Maintain a good relationship with new vendors
Not just planning programs, but designing them.
Collaborate with the Executive Director to create programs in accordance with the organization’s annual budget.
Develop an annual survey of our clients to better understand their emergent needs, ensuring that our programs and services complement those needs.
