JNS seeks a Social Media Associate to be an online voice and content creator, responsible for building and maintaining JNS social media presence across priority platforms and establishing a consistent look, feel, and tone for all social media content. This is a creative and content management role that requires strong organizational skills, criteria, high level of responsibility and adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The Digital Media Associate will report to the VP of Marketing based in Israel and will work closely with other Digital and Social media managers. This position is based in the US and it is expected to work remotely during regular US hours. Some availability to speak with the Israel based team will be required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage JNS accounts
• Identify and execute new strategies for growing social media audiences and deepening engagement
• Produce digital content for virality, presence, and audience growth
• Experience using social media analytics to improve performance
• Develop digital campaigns to engage new audiences and promote JNS content
• Design social media graphics and/or collaborate with design vendors
• Update and maintain podcast feeds
• Manage JNS photo archive
• Assist Engagement, Development, Content, and Program teams with occasional communication needs including layout, design, writing, and editing

Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional writing skills
• Experience with Adobe graphic software such as Photoshop or Illustrator
• Experience using Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to promote content and engagement
• Experience using social media analytics to improve performance
• 3-4 years managing social media or producing digital content for a nonprofit, campaign, or agency
• Passion for Israel and the Jewish world
• Video editing skills a plus
• Some Hebrew language skills a plus
