Afternoon Infant Teacher

We are looking to employ a warm and nurturing Assistant Infant Teacher who has a passion for caring for young children. The teacher should possess high energy and the ability to patiently handle the demands of babies with different personalities and needs.

We are an Early Childhood Center conveniently located in Pennsylvania near Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, Plymouth Meeting, Lafayette Hill, Oreland, etc. We have incredible staff to work with and a wonderful environment to work in. Our children range in age from 3 months to 5 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Displaying a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child
• Fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging educational experiences
• Responding to each child's needs efficiently
• Working closely and cohesively with coworkers in the best interest of the children
• Collaborating with parents and communicating regularly about children's progress
• Ensuring close communication with parents throughout the day should the need arise
• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children, such as babysitting, caregiving, or nannying
• High school diploma or associate degree (recommended)
• Infant and child CPR and First Aid certified (We will help you to obtain these if you do not have)
• PA Clearances and other Center requirements (We will help you to obtain these)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with infants
