Indiana University Hillel is home to over 4,000 Jewish undergraduate students and YOU have the opportunity to get to know them and especially those in Greek life! By joining IU Hillel as the Engagement Associate focusing on the Greek community, you’ll build one on one relationships with students in the Greek community, hang out at fraternities and sororities to meet and engage students, teach a University course about Leadership in Greek life, partner with students to plan programs in fraternities and sororities, around campus and at Hillel, and help inspire students to make a commitment to Jewish life and build a strong Jewish community in Greek life. The main focus of this role will be engaging with the IU Greek community (Indiana University boasts a tremendous number of students participating in Greek life consisting of 2000+ Jewish students, 4 Jewish fraternities, and 2 Jewish sororities).
In this role you will build hundreds of student relationships, work collaboratively and independently to plan innovative and meaningful Jewish programs, and develop the future generation of Jewish leaders. The Engagement Associate focusing on Greek life will (in addition to working with Greek life), support some of our other student groups, play a role in our Jewish learning opportunities, and get to pursue passion projects!
This is a student facing position with an emphasis in being a staff mentor to students in Greek life on all student programming, communications and social media efforts.
