Overview
Kerem Shalom, a vibrant, progressive, 250-household synagogue in Concord, Massachusetts, seeks an energetic and organized individual to be a 30 hour/week Administrative Assistant (AA).
The AA will provide support for our school, community dinners and celebrations, general operations, and other activities. They will help ensure that Kerem Shalom is a warm and welcoming place for members, visitors, and guests. While the work primarily will be done during weekday business hours, the AA will be asked to be present on some evenings and Jewish holidays, as well as at times on Sunday morning. The AA will report to the Director of Education, and work collaboratively with the Synagogue Administrator as well as with the Rabbi, Cantorial Soloist, Director of Adult Programming, and, at times, our lay leadership. The position will be non-exempt for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
