SUMMARY:
Ready to make a difference in the world? The Jewish Agency for Israel is seeking an experienced and creative Graphic Designer/Producer. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing our brand and managing the creation of various visual design elements both for digital platforms and print—including photography, typography, visual concepting, web and other platforms—to ensure that our marketing efforts are aligned and effective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITES (other duties may be assigned):
- Creatively communicate Jewish Agency key brand attributes and personality by executing innovative design solutions
- Design an array of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, event graphics, newsletters, web/social media graphics and reports
- Developing design briefs and understanding project requirements; scheduling projects and managing timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborating with teams to conceptualize and produce design work, being the glue that holds multiple projects and teams together
- Proactively finding ways to improve and streamline processes
- Thinking holistically about marketing efforts to ensure they are aligned and effective
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in fine or visual arts, or a related field
- 2 years minimum of work experience and a strong portfolio of relevant work
- Ability to deliver design solutions within production scheduled timeframes and within budgetary constraints
- Ability to work both individually and in a team; manage multiple work streams, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe CC (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office suite (especially Word and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge/experience with other creative digital tools and systems (CMS e.g., WordPress; Email e.g., Mailchimp; DAMs; Work/project management software) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Hebrew, and familiarity with Israel and the Jewish world, are a big plus
