If you fit this description, you may be what we are looking for to complete our stellar group of educators at temple Kol Tikvah in Woodland Hills.
We are looking for teachers with preschool experience, as well as teachers who can teach second through sixth grade. With the grade school teachers, we need people who are capable of teaching beginners to read Hebrew, using a provided curriculum.
Job Details:
Be onsite to teach a Judaica class for two and a half hours for either or both on Sunday mornings (8:45 am-11:45 am) and/or Tuesdays afternoons (5:15 pm-8:15 pm), September through May.
Compensation is based upon experience, is paid twice each month, and includes additional hours for staff meetings, orientation. You must be fingerprinted/have proof of fingerprints and should be CPR trained or available for summer training. Salary: $30.00-$70.00 per/hour
The school year begins in early September 2025 and runs through May 2026. We take off for secular school breaks and Jewish and secular holidays. Orientation and classroom preparation begin prior to the first day of class.
