Temple Beth David of the South Shore, a progressive Reform congregation, is seeking a religious school teacher for immediate placement. The ideal candidate will be excited about sharing their love for Hebrew and prayer with our students and prepared to help students from grades 2 through 7 to increase their Hebrew literacy. The person hired to this position will work closely with the congregation’s rabbi to teach Hebrew and prayer. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to lead an elective class, of the teacher’s choice, focusing on your own love and passion for our faith. Examples currently being offered are: a debate class, a theatre class, an art class, and a cooking class. 

 

This is a part-time position from 9:00 to 12:30 on Sundays throughout the school year. There are 20 sessions or less left for this year. Compensation is $45 an hour along with paid prep time.
