Human Resources Director

We are seeking a Human Resources Director to join our staff 

Responsibilities include:

• Processing employee enrollment benefit forms, including health insurance, retirement benefits and life insurance.
• Handling employee claims for COBRA, NYS Paid Family Leave, disability, workers compensation and unemployment.
• Enforcing school policies and practices
• Ensuring compliance with labor and employment law 
• Serving as the primary point person for employee questions as related to benefits, employee policy etc.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Working knowledge of COBRA, NYSPFL and retirement plans
• Prior experience in human resources 
• Proficiency in word, excel and google apps
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
