Hadar is seeking a full-time, in-person, Operations Associate based in New York City to execute critical administrative and logistical needs across the organization. 

The ideal candidate is self-driven, flexible, and results-oriented. This person will be energized by a fast-paced environment and able to manage simultaneous projects. The Operations Associate should be an excellent communicator, attentive to detail and comfortable managing data. This person will serve as a key member of the Operations team to ensure operational success of Hadar’s many departments. The appropriate candidate is excited to work in a vibrant and enthusiastic Jewish educational organization. This position is an opportunity to create real change in the Jewish world by advancing Hadar’s mission through partnership with many of our teams including Programs, Content, Communications, Engagement, Development, Yeshiva and more. 

The Operations Associate will report into the Senior Director of Operations. This is an in-person position based in New York City.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with departments as needed to drive projects to completion. Tasks may include:
    • Data management: formatting, cleansing, uploading, exporting, analyzing
    • File management: organizing, formatting, editing, distributing (may include several file types audio, JPEG, google docs etc)
    • Supply management: purchasing, shipping, inventorying
    • Vendor management: contacting, booking, coordinating as needed
    • Finance management: submitting receipts and invoices
    • Facilities management: setting up and breaking down program spaces as needed
  • Ensuring the day-to-day operational success of our New York City office which may include:
    • Managing space/facility needs
    • Managing supply needs
    • Coordinating physical mailings (both those received and those to be mailed)
    • Serving as first point of contact via phone and [email protected] email


  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary to develop cooperative working relationships
  • Effective project management skills and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative setting where teamwork, passion, positivity, and resourcefulness are highly valued
  • Proficiency working in Zoom, Google Drive and Salesforce preferred, must have a willingness to learn
  • Early career professional with operations and/or project management experience
  • Flexible approach with a penchant for creative problem solving and adaptability
  • Familiarity with and/or appreciation for Jewish texts would be welcome

The salary range for this position is from $50,000 - $55,000.
