Job Title: Kadima & USY Youth Staff Member

Position Type: Part-Time

Overview:
Temple Beth Sholom USY is seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our youth department as a Kadima & USY staff member. This part-time (15-20 hours per month) role supports our youth programs for grades 4–12, helping create a welcoming, fun, and meaningful Jewish community for our pre-teens and teens.

Responsibilities:

• Attend a minimum of two Wednesday evening lounge nights (5:45p - 8:15p) each month (additional evenings possible).
• Assist with Kadima & USY off-campus programs (typically 1 - 2 Sunday afternoons, 2–3 hours).
• Attend First Friday Shabbat dinners.
• Engage participants in age-appropriate activities, games, and discussions.
• Support the Youth Director and USY Board in running events.
• Serve as a positive Jewish role model for students in grades 4–12.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with youth, ideally in Jewish educational, camp, or youth group settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings/weekends as scheduled.
• Creative, energetic, and able to engage a variety of age groups (grades 4–12).

Compensation:

• Part-time position with competitive hourly wage based on experience.
