Repair the World is seeking a passionate and organized Stakeholder Engagement Associate. The Stakeholder Engagement Associate will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support in all aspects of donor, prospect, partner, and board member engagement and communication activities. This person will assist with relevant project management tasks and provide calendar management support. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and effective communicator and will work collaboratively and closely with Repair’s CEO and Manager, Office of the President. Preferred candidates will be self-starters and will demonstrate critical thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills. This position requires the ability to plan, organize, and manage time and projects productively.
The Stakeholder Engagement Associate will report directly to the Manager, Office of the President, and work closely with the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). This is a remote (US-based) position, and will ideally be located in New York. Candidates in any of Repair’s communities (Atlanta, Baltimore, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Pittsburgh) will be considered.
Administrative Support & Communication:
- Provide administrative support to the Office of the President and CSO, including scheduling support.
- Frequently compose, proofread, and distribute internal and external correspondences, including emails, funder collateral, memorandums, and reports.
- Demonstrate effective task management, ability to prioritize assignments, and provide consistent communication for various projects which are confidential, time-sensitive, and may involve concurrent deadlines.
- Track and reconcile monthly credit card statements, and prepare and process expense reports, and purchase orders on behalf of CSO, with additional support for the executive team as needed.
- Provide logistical support ahead of meetings, conferences, travel, and other stakeholder focused events that require significant planning and execution.
- Assemble materials for distribution, perform relevant research, and gather and maintain records/documents for stakeholders.
- Draft funder communications, schedules, and agendas for stakeholder meetings. Manage follow-up from meetings.
- Support Repair CEO’s LinkedIn outreach strategy.
- Build relationships that embody Repair’s values.
- Maintain regular, impactful engagement, highlighting information and insight from across Repair’s activities globally.
- Liaise with a broad range of key internal and external stakeholders, including executive team members, board members, advisory council members, donors, and partners.
- Ensure updates regarding stakeholders are communicated to relevant internal staff.
Database Management and Reporting:
- Perform various data entry and data retrieval tasks within Salesforce, creating queries and/or reports as needed to ensure the availability of reliable data that supports critical stakeholder activities (e.g. tracking stakeholder meetings, lay leader engagement, etc.), maintaining stakeholder records, and performing quality control on data entry.
- Build and customize various task workflow and project management dashboards via Monday.com platform. Track stakeholder meeting agendas, allocate resources, and provide project updates and changes as needed.
- Support communications to stakeholders via Salesforce and Pardot.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or development experience

- Demonstrated eagerness to communicate and problem solve with a positive attitude

- Ensure confidentiality and discretion in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Technically savvy; interest in learning various systems and applications, proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM database is a plus

Compensation at Repair is based on title and on cost of living in the location where you reside. Our starting salary for this role is between $50,000 - $64,103 if you have 1-2 years of experience and dependent on your location. If you have more than that, let’s talk.
The benefits package includes retirement matching, professional development funds, and paid time off for service in addition to generous vacation/sick leave and holidays. Employees who have been with Repair for six months or more are eligible for 16 weeks of paid parental leave. Repair the World pays 100% for employee medical/dental/vision coverage and 50% for dependents.
The process for the hired applicant will include the following steps:

- Applicants moved forward will have a first round screening with a member of Repair’s People & Culture team.
- Applicants that move forward from a first round interview will have a second round interview with the Manager, Office of the President and Chief Strategy Officer.
- Applicants that move on from the second round interview will then meet with Repair’s President & CEO and Senior Director of Philanthropy.
- Two professional references will be requested before the final round of the interview process.
