About JGO: The Jewish Grad Organization (JGO) is a dynamic organization dedicated to enriching the  experience of Jewish graduate students on over 130 campuses. We provide support through Jewish  programming, funding initiatives, and access to speakers across various professions and specialties. 

The Role: We are seeking a creative and resourceful Research Specialist to join our team. You will play a vital role in identifying and researching potential donors and speakers who can contribute to our mission and inspire our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on potential donors and speakers using a variety of online resources, including Rocket Reach, LinkedIn, and other relevant databases.
• Develop creative search strategies to identify individuals who align with our organization's values, funding priorities, and speaking expertise.
• Analyze data and compile detailed profiles of potential donors and speakers, including their philanthropic interests, past speaking engagements, and areas of expertise.
• Proactively identify emerging trends in philanthropy and speaker engagement within our field.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of potential donors and speakers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for donor and speaker research.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in research or a related field.
• Proven experience using online research tools, including experience with Rocket Reach and LinkedIn.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• A creative and resourceful approach to research, with the ability to think outside the box.
