Job Title: Program Coordinator

The Dupree Conference and Education Center (DCEC), a project incubated by The Zalik Foundation, is a new Atlanta-based start-up nonprofit hub for Jewish thriving. We create welcoming spaces for Jewish exploration and growth through thought-provoking, high-quality Jewish and Israel education featuring respected speakers, educators, and leaders.

The DCEC is grounded in the belief that Jewish thriving is a collective ideal; one where Jewish identity is embraced, Jewish life is vibrant, and community is central.  The DCEC is a place where Jews in Atlanta and mission-aligned nonprofit organizations come together for community, education, and connection. The DCEC will produce an annual curated slate of educational programs and house a co-working space for local nonprofit organizations, along with an on-site kosher café, opening in 2026.

About the Role:

As part of The DCEC’s continued growth and expansion, this new position reflects our commitment to building a strong team that supports our evolving mission and impact. The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of The DCEC’s growing portfolio of adult education programs. From coordinating the program flow, supporting program planning and preparing advanced materials, the Program Coordinator will help ensure every program is polished, thoughtful, and impactful for both the audiences and facilitators.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with poise and professionalism in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Events Coordinator, Marketing Team, and other team members across the organization.

What You'll Do:

Program Planning & Execution

  • Coordinate logistics and timelines for all classes and programs, from pre-program preparation to on-site execution
  • Prepare, continuously update, and distribute detailed runs-of-show and annotated agendas.  Provide external parties (speakers, and partner organizations) with advance copies of these program documents
  • Work with Events Coordinator to manage catering/beverage orders, and all day-of logistics
  • Prepare and organize all program materials in advance (e.g., worksheets, pens, paper, sourcing sheets, craft supplies)
  • Provide day-of and week-of support for all programs to ensure staff, speakers, and partners have what they need for a seamless experience
Speaker & Guest Coordination
  • Gather and organize speaker and guest bios, headshots, travel/hotel details
  • Support guest/speaker hospitality, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
  • Track and process speaker invoices and reimbursements promptly
Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Support the Executive Director with programming needs, including researching and vetting speakers
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure timely, accurate program promotion
  • Maintain up to date RSVP lists and coordinate outreach with the Board and partners
Evaluation and Development
  • Maintain a well-organized archive of speaker files, program documents, and post-program materials
  • Assist in data collection and distribution to inform future programming decisions and measure impact
  • Help drive weekly program planning targets and timelines to keep deliverables on track
  • Contribute to refining internal systems and tools that enhance program coordination and team efficiency

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in programming, communications, or event coordination, preferably in a nonprofit, educational, or community-based setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Professional presence and ability to work directly with speakers, leadership, and community partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is key.
    Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as needed fo r programs

What You’ll Receive:

  • Competitive salary range of $55,000-$70,000 depending on experience
