Cantorial Soloist - High Holy Days 2025

Small congregation in Central New Jersey is seeking a Cantorial Soloist for the High Holy Days 2025. Services are held in person and are also livestreamed. The ideal candidate would provide musical leadership for High Holy Day services which include Erev Rosh HaShanah, one day of Rosh HaShanah, Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur Morning, and Neilah. This person would work closely with our Rabbi, including rehearsals as requested, to create and lead meaningful and inspirational worship services.

Our High Holy Days prayer book is Mahzor Hadesh Yameinu, Renew Our Days, edited and translated by Rabbi Ronald Aigen.

Temple Micah is an unaffiliated, egalitarian congregation in Lawrenceville, New Jersey serving the Jewish community of Central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania since 1969. Our mission is to provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere where all individuals and their families and friends are welcome and can realize their own connection to Judaism. We are a part-time congregation offering monthly Friday night services, weekly religious school, and holiday celebrations. We have approximately 100 member households, a number of which are interfaith. High Holy Day services are open to everyone and we generally have 100 - 200 people at each service.

The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville has been our spiritual home for more than 50 years and we worship in its historic meetinghouse.
