Chief Development Officer

Are you passionate about building community, inspiring generosity, and making a lasting impact? The Jewish Federation of Omaha is looking for a visionary Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead our fundraising efforts and grow support for our mission—locally, in Israel, and around the world.

As a key member of our executive team, the CDO will drive strategy for all fundraising initiatives, including the annual campaign, major gifts, capital campaigns, endowment, and special initiatives. This is your chance to energize our donor base, connect with community leaders, and shape the future of Jewish life.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow all fundraising programs—annual campaign, major gifts, planned giving, and more.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships with donors and community partners.
• Partner with our CEO, lay leaders, and passionate team to tell our story and expand our impact.
• Inspire and support a dedicated development team.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of fundraising experience (bonus points for Jewish communal or campaign experience).
• A love for relationship-building and connecting people to purpose.
• Strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
• Understanding of and passion for Jewish values and community.
