About the Z3 Project

The OFJCC’s Z3 Project is tasked with modeling and promoting the evolution of Zionism through conferences, conventions and collaborations. Z3’s Programmatic portfolio includes the annual Z3 Conference, the Z3 Leadership Lab and the Z3 Institute. In addition, Z3 has several strategic partnerships and initiatives that further the dissemination of Zionism and Peoplehood throughout the Jewish public square. Throughout the year, we plan and execute programming for our local community. The Z3 Project is part of the OFJCC and partners regularly with other departments to support the agency as a whole.

 

About the Z3 Institute

Z3 Institute – a new platform created for continued speaker engagement to leverage the ever growing network of Z3 speakers and presenters, past and future events and to continue to promote and grow the Z3 approach. Through publications, content curation and symposiums, the Institute will play a crucial role in evolving public discourse as it pertains to Jewish Peoplehood and Zionism.

 

About the Z3 Leadership Lab

Leadership Lab – is a leadership certificate program for senior staff from JCCs across the country. This cohort based program provides them tools to bring Z3 to their own local JCC, as well as an ongoing network for support, professional development and more.

 

The Job: Are you an organized and skilled at planning events? If so, this might be the job for you! As the Z3 Content and Community Manager you will be the point person responsible for driving the ongoing planning and execution of the Z3 Institute and Leadership Lab. This includes, ongoing engagement with the various participants, specialty-event management, developing content for the Z3 Institute, Leadership Lab and other projects as needed.

The Core Duties:

  • Managing the lifecycle of the leadership lab – developing content and marketing materials, recruit new participants and nurture ongoing alumni engagement to include events, mentorship, communications and support.
  • Maintain communication with previous Z3 speakers and engage with them for new projects such as writing articles, attending speaker only events, soliciting insights on a variety of topics via op-ed publications, social media, blogs and other communication outlets.
  • Create virtual communities for Z3 Institute and Leadership Lab participants. Ensure virtual communities have active engagement and are thriving. Help with moderating, disseminating information, maintain networks and ensure it is a vibrant portal for thoughts, questions and collegial support.
  • Help curate publication themes. Reach out to the Z3 speaker community to solicit written materials for a variety of publication outlets. Help determine which pieces are published and assist with editing as needed. Partner with marketing to finalize actual publication.

 

The Essentials:

  • 3-5 years of programming and virtual community management experience
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate information clearly in English (written & oral)
  • Expirience in writing and editing is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to cultivate partnerships.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure and time constraints
  • Ability and desire to work independently and as a team member with the community and other employees
  • Outstanding knowledge Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Google Suite
  • Ability to interact with a broad spectrum of customers and business partners
  • Flexible in a fast-paced setting with competing and ever-changing tasks and calm under pressure
  • Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
  • Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working in a non-profit environment
  • Hebrew language skills a plus but not required
