Religious School Director

Congregation Or Atid is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, initiative-taker, and organized person for our growing religious school. This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the religious school operation, students, teachers, communications with the parents, and active outreach with participation in our community.

Responsibilities Include: Implementing the curriculum within the guidelines set forth by the Youth Education Committee and the Rabbi; supervising and administering the staff and operation of the religious school; prepare and maintain the school calendar, school tab on the COA website, activities for Jewish holiday/festival days, parent notices, weekly communication updates, and community articles; preparing and overseeing the school budget; developing and maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of all staff and students, including time-keeping records and attendance records; coordinating student registration/recruitment.

Congregation Or Atid Helen & Sam Kornblau religious school currently has 25-35 children enrolled.

Qualifications: Experience in Jewish education, leadership roles preferred; College Degree preferred; Experience with ShulCloud; A love of working with children of all ages, their families, staff, and synagogue leadership.

This is a part-time position of 15 hours a week for 40 weeks.
