Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Development will oversee development and communications efforts as Gateways continues to sustain and expand its philanthropic base. The Director of Development is a key member of the senior staff team at Gateways, partnering with staff and lay leadership to ensure that Gateways has the funding resources and marketing reach to achieve our strategic goals. Over the last 17 years, Gateways has partnered with day schools, congregational and community schools and early childhood programs in the Boston region and beyond to provide special education services, expertise, and support. Salary $85,000-95,000. Full-time benefits include generous paid time off, health, dental, and vision plan options, flexible spending account, SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with 3% employer match, and employer-paid long-term disability and life insurance.
Hybrid – work from home (in Greater Boston area) and at Gateways offices at 333 Nahanton Street, Newton, MA
