This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Temple Beth Sholom including but not exclusive to the Synagogue, Sandra, and Stanley Mallin Early Childhood Center, the Religious School, the Maintenance Department, and Security Department.
Directly supervise all operational personnel, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors involved in the day-to-day operations of the facility. Supervisory role excludes the operation of the Early Childhood Center, Religious School, and ritual functions. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

1) Education and/or Experience:
Associates Degree, or greater, with experience in relevant field (Operations and/or Office Management) of no less than 5-years.
2) Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting Software (QuickBooks); Internet Software; Payroll Systems, Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Order Processing Systems; and Word Processing Software (Word).
