The Systems and Technology Associate will play a vital role in supporting organizational operations by maintaining and optimizing our technical platforms. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working with database systems, managing user access, creating reports, and helping implement system improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. They should be collaborative, eager to learn, and committed to providing excellent technical support to end users. This is a full-time position based in New York and working closely with various departments to ensure maximized use of our systems and platforms. The Systems and Technology Associate will be part of the Systems Team and report to the Director of Systems and Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure system capabilities and usage are in alignment with organizational goals and priorities
  • Oversee data health and accuracy through inputs, updates, deduplicating and bulk importing enforcing and maintaining data quality standards across the organization
  • Perform day-to-day Salesforce administrative tasks, such as creating and managing user accounts, roles, permission sets, password resets, user access issues, and other basic technical support for staff including on-site support during programs and as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues or errors.
  • Manage registration forms, surveys and data collection using FormAssembly or similar tools, ensuring accurate data capture, appropriate Salesforce integration, functionality and usability. 
  • Conduct regular audits of Salesforce processes to identify and address inaccuracies or inconsistencies. 
  • Create, update, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for staff to track key metrics and performance indicators. 
  • Collaborate with team members to help them maximize system use including reports, forms, and workflows. 
  • Develop and maintain guides and documentation for creating forms, managing reports, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Assist in training team members on Salesforce best practices, form usage, and basic system navigation.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (Salesforce certification is a plus)
  • Proficient in Salesforce administration tasks like user management, roles, permission sets, and profiles
  • Experience creating and managing forms using FormAssembly or similar tool, with a focus on integrating data into Salesforce
  • Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, and data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot system issues and optimize processes
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Highly organized and responsible, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong ability to manage data accuracy and integrity across systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and clear communication style and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with training or supporting users on Salesforce features and best practices
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve Salesforce skills

The salary for this position is from $55,000-$65,000
