About Tiferet Project:

Tiferet Project brings Jewish contemplative practices—including meditation, yoga, and retreats, rooted in Jewish wisdom—to the Greater Pittsburgh community. We seek a mission-driven individual to manage our marketing and communications and help grow our visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute marketing campaigns for programs, events, and retreats.
  • Oversee email communications using MailChimp (design, send, and analyze campaigns).
  • Run our Facebook and Instagram accounts by creating engaging content and event promotions.
  • Design marketing collateral with Canva, collaboratively.
  • Update and maintain our WordPress website (especially The Events Calendar and Gravity Forms).
  • Organize and maintain project info, program data, and contacts in Notion.
  • Maintain the CRM database and project management workflows in Notion.
  • Coordinate communication with community partners and participants.
  • Track marketing analytics, generate reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the teaching/program director and support all outreach needs.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in nonprofit marketing or communications.
  • Familiarity with MailChimp, Facebook, Instagram, and Canva.
  • Experience editing/updating WordPress websites; knowledge of The Events Calendar and Gravity Forms is a plus.
  • Comfortable managing projects and data in Notion or willing and able to learn quickly.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and content creation skills.
  • Basic skills in graphic design, digital marketing, and brand-building.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with the Jewish calendar, holidays and rhythms is important.
  • We welcome candidates with experience in meditation, yoga, or contemplative practices. An interest in Jewish spiritual practice would be helpful.
  • A collaborative spirit, customer-service orientation, and a commitment to the mission.
