Temple Ohabei Shalom Brookline, MA is seeking a dynamic storyteller and relationship builder to amplify our temple's mission across all communications channels. You'll craft compelling content, manage our digital presence, and support fundraising efforts while working closely with clergy, staff, and volunteers. The Communications and Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing our mission through effective stewardship of relationships and comprehensive management of both communications and fundraising operations. This is a full time, exempt position including occasional evening and/or weekend responsibilities. Typically this position works fully onsite.
What You'll Do:
- Create newsletters, social media content, and marketing materials that engage our community
- Manage website, email campaigns, and donor communications
- Build media relationships and handle press releases
- Support fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship
- Maintain brand consistency across all platforms
- Track metrics and optimize our outreach strategy
What You Bring:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Social media savvy with analytics experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM systems. Experience with ShulCloud and/or Brightwheel preffered.
- High emotional intelligence and networking enthusiasm
- Detail-oriented project management abilities
- Self-motivated with initiative to work beyond the job description
