Temple Beth Shalom, a Conservative synagogue, is seeking an Operations Manager to support our Executive Director. You will be at the center of a thriving organization with varied and increasing day-to-day responsibilities.

General Responsibilities:
-Work closely with the Executive Director to plan daily operations and assist with event planning.
-Develop plans to increase synagogue membership and engage with prospective members.
-Respond to correspondence and emails from TBS members, vendors, staff and contractors.
-Develop e-mail messages and campaigns, including weekly newsletters, events and programs.
-Work closely with our Religious School and Preschool teams.
-Liaise with different departments to improve performance, work efficiency and implement synagogue policies and procedures.
-Assist with management of synagogue social media presence (i.e. Facebook) and help develop additional appropriate social media opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
-Strong customer service skills – ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally with various individuals and audiences.
-An eye for attention to detail.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to multi-task assignments and work independently on multiple projects.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of ShulCloud is a plus.
-Knowledge of the Jewish community is a plus.
