Cantorial Soloist

The Bet Yitzchak progressive (Reform/Conservative) congregation, in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Cantorial Solist to lead Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur morning services, Kol Nidre, and Neilah services for a diverse community outreach effort that has been providing  High Holiday services serving Hollywood and the LA area for 40 years.

Responsibiities would include song and instrumental work, knowledge of the Jewish progressive liturgy (Reform/ Recon/ Conservative), identifying song, leading serves, and working with the rabbi to finalize service  elements.  This effort is collaborative and sees to guide congregations back into the folds of modern Jewish expression through traditional prayer and song.
