Early Childhood Educator

The Cole Valley Gan Preschool (www.ColeValleyGan.com) is a joyful, play-based early childhood program dedicated to nurturing children’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth. We’re looking for a warm and collaborative teacher to join our close-knit team for the upcoming school year.


SCHEDULE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM (we close early on Fridays)
Full-time Position: Summer Program + 10-month school year
Start Date: June 30, 2025 or August 18, 2025

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Pay: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience and education

YOU WILL:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to a small group of children ages 18 months to 3 years
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities alongside fellow educators
- Foster children's emotional intelligence, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Build strong relationships with families through open, respectful communication
- Share in basic classroom responsibilities like tidying and snack preparation


QAULIFICATIONS:
- Passionate about working with young children in a play-based setting
- Experienced in early childhood care (minimum 6 months in a daycare or preschool)
- Familiar with developmentally appropriate practices
- A clear communicator - warm, friendly, and professional with families and staff
- Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
- Familiarity with Jewish culture or holidays is a plus but not required
