The Synagogue Administrator plans, coordinates, and manages the support staff, facilities, systems, and operations of B’nai Shalom of Olney (BSO) to ensure a smooth functioning of all congregational activity. The administrator is responsible for implementing the policies, principles, guidelines, and objectives of the congregation and overseeing its daily operations in a manner consistent with BSO’s values. The administrator is often the first point of contact for members and non-members alike and must present a warm welcoming presence. The Synagogue Administrator provides direct supervision for non-clergy administrative staff.
