Job Title: Personal Assistant to the CEO Company: Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity

Location: Highland Park, IL

Position Overview: Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), the Jewish college fraternity, is seeking a
highly organized and professional Personal Assistant to provide executive-level support
to the CEO. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability
to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted
partner to the CEO, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and helping advance
AEPi's mission and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
? Manage the CEOs com'plex calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and
events with efficiency and foresight.
? Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and
itineraries.
? Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders,
maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
? Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents
as needed.
? Handle incoming communication (emails, calls, etc.), prioritizing and escalating
issues when necessary.
? Support the CEO in organizing and tracking critical projects, ensuring deadlines
and goals are met.
? Provide administrative support during board meetings, committee meetings, and
executive sessions, including taking minutes and following up on action items.
? Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively provide assistance to enhance
productivity and effectiveness.
? Maintain an organized system for records, files, and information relevant to the
CEO's role.
? Perform other duties and personal tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Expanded Responsibilities:
? Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact for board members, alumni,
donors, and other stakeholders, building and maintaining positive relationships
on behalf of the CEO.

? Social Media Management: Assist in curating and managing the CEO’s
professional social media presence, creating engaging content, and monitoring
activity to ensure alignment with organizational values.
? Team Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration
between the CEO and various departments, ensuring alignment on
organizational goals and initiatives.
? Leadership Team Coordination: Support interactions between the CEO and the
leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and
following up on key action items.
? Personal Assistance: Provide support with personal tasks such as managing
memberships, scheduling personal appointments, or handling other non-work-
related errands, allowing the CEO to focus on strategic priorities.
Cultural Considerations:
? Familiarity with Jewish Culture: While not mandatory, understanding Jewish
traditions, holidays, and values could enhance the assistant's ability to align with
AEPi's mission and better support the CEO.
? Sensitivity to Jewish Holidays: Be mindful of the impact of holidays such as
Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Passover, as well as Shabbat (Friday evening
to Saturday evening), on scheduling and operations.
? Awareness of Dietary Laws (Kashrut): Consideration for kosher requirements
may be necessary when planning meals for events or meetings.
? Global Context: AEPi is a global organization, so cultural awareness of Jewish
identity across diverse international communities may be beneficial.
? Respect for Community and Stakeholders: The role may involve engaging
with members of the Jewish community or organizations, requiring cultural
sensitivity and professionalism.


Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
? Proven experience as a personal or executive assistant, preferably in a
leadership support role.
? Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
? Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
? Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and
other productivity tools.
? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
at all levels.
? Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
Additional Details:
? Some evening and weekend availability may be required.
? Familiarity with Jewish traditions, values, and culture is a plus but not mandatory.
