Position Overview

We are searching for an experienced Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance, and advancement of our facility to meet our community objectives. This person should: be available to work at least 30 hours per week, be upbeat, have an impeccable eye for detail, and bring a proactive approach to the role. This position will ensure their department is doing the basics brilliantly in addition to going above and beyond to meet the needs of our stakeholders.



  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance technicians
  • Regularly inspect the facility and grounds, including all devices, structures, and systems, to determine necessary improvements
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance procedures and processes as well as ensure implementation
  • Coordinate project details and timing with key stakeholders
  • Create an inventory management system to understand costs and use trends as well as effectively reduce an over-abundance of product
  • Manage and maintain a departmental budget including forecasting needs
  • Oversee external partners, vendors, and suppliers, and maintain services records
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards to align with health and safety objectives
  • Proactively research new ways to facilitate a more efficient operational model


Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as maintenance supervisor
  • Ability to inspire, manage, and hold people accountable
  • Impeccable eye for detail; well organized
  • Knowledge of craft (i.e. plumbing, carpentry)
  • Focused on developing solutions
  • Capacity to juggle competing priorities
  • Competent in interacting with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactively identify better ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer saavy
  • Must live in Michigan


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $40,000+
