Newly-created position as Deputy Executive Director and possible future successor to the Executive Director of a substantial and ultra-modern midtown Manhattan reform synagogue that is involved in many philanthropic community initiatives.
In this role, you will assume many of the ED'S responsibilities, including:
*Manage, oversee and coordinate daily operations of the synagogue, early childhood center, religious school, community events and off-site cemetery.
*Develop and implement policies and procedures.
*Support member and outside funding relationships to enhance annual giving.
*Maintain and oversee data management systems.
*Collabotate with the ED, lay leadership and clergy on key initiatives.
*Serve as point of contact for congregants, staff, and external partners.
*Monitor program performance and conduct performance reviews.
*Pursue fundraising opportunities.
*Oversee staff onboarding, security, facilities operations, Finance Department.

You should have an impressive track record in advancing Jewish life, strong related experience, preferably in a synagogue, non-profit or camp, or other related sectors.
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, and a Master's degree is preferable.
Salary: $185,000 to $220,000 (may be a bit flexible).
