Are you passionate about nurturing future leaders of the Jewish community, merging your love for travel with a purposeful career, and contributing to a vibrant, innovative team?

 

Join the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE-Miami) as a Program Coordinator for the Miami Diller Teen Fellows. You will play a key role in our Teen Department, delivering creative and organizational support for an experiential education program that inspires leadership among Jewish youth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage educational workshops, retreats, service projects, and Israel travel programs
  • Mentor 20 program participants, providing guidance and support throughout the fellowship, 2 Junior Counselors, and 1 Second Staff.
  • Oversee marketing, recruitment, and selection of participants, manage social media and website content.
  • Manage the payment process for tuition and financial aid.
  • Process expenses and invoices for the program.
  • Collaborate on seminar design, maintain program alignment with the International program, and provide partnership updates with our partners in Yerucham, Israel.
  • Develop curriculum and educational objectives with support from Teen Department supervisor.
  • Serve as the point of contact for parents and teens in the program and alumni of the program.
  • Engage with alumni and community members, contributing to the overall experience and understanding of the program. This could include some fundraising opportunities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and engage with an international counterpart and colleagues.
  • Weekly supervision with local supervisor to support the overall program development of the Miami Diller program.
  • Weekly check-ins and professional development opportunities with Diller International mentors and Diller International Coordinator circle.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s candidates may be considered).
  • Experience in youth program development, leadership training, and Israel education.
  • Strong interpersonal and digital communication skills, with proficiency in various software and social media platforms.
  • Ability to plan, organize, adapt, and effectively communicate in English (Spanish or Hebrew is a plus).
  • Dynamic Work Schedule & Global Travel: Dive into a role where your work week extends into inspiring evenings and weekends. Your journey includes:
    • Monthly Local Programs & Three Shabbatons: Engage community teens through vibrant weekend Shabbat activities and retreats, fostering deep connections and enriching experiences.
    • Organize a Signature 8-10 Day Seminar: Take the lead in hosting Diller teens from Yerucham, Israel, for an unforgettable cross-cultural exchange and learning in Miami.
    • Annual 3-week immersion in Israel: Guide teens in Israel as they explore the culture, history, and connect deeply with the roots of our program.
    • Three Diller Conferences Annually: Spanning 4 to 7 days each, these conferences offer rich professional development and networking opportunities worldwide. One of the three is held in the United States, the other two are often International.

 

What We Offer:

 

  • Competitive salary up to $52,000, based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and pension plan.
  • 22 vacation days, 12 sick days, early Friday closures for Shabbat, and holiday closures.
