Brauser Maimonides Academy seeks a Chief Academic Officer
Position begins July 2026
At Brauser Maimonides Academy (BMA), we believe that excellent schools are built on thoughtful vision, collaborative leadership, and a deep respect for both students and teachers. As we prepare for our next phase of growth, BMA is seeking a strategic and community-minded Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to lead and strengthen the educational experience for our students, families, and faculty.
The Chief Academic Officer will serve as a central driver of BMA’s academic direction, ensuring cohesion, clarity, and alignment across our dual curriculum and across all grade levels, from Early Childhood through 8th Grade. This is a meaningful opportunity to join a Modern Orthodox day school with over 750 students, and to help shape its future in partnership with a committed Head of School, talented faculty, and invested parent body.
About BMA
Brauser Maimonides Academy is a Modern Orthodox day school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving students from Early Childhood through 8th Grade. We are proud to be a school that lives Torah values, pursues academic excellence, and nurtures growth.
Our mission calls us to inspire each student to achieve their unique potential: academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We do this through a robust dual curriculum, strong home/school partnerships, and a culture that embraces both tradition and forward-thinking innovation.
What makes BMA unique is the way our values come to life in daily practice:
- Where Every Student Thrives: Through a focus on the whole child, we empower and inspire students to strive for excellence in their educational, social-emotional, and spiritual growth.
- Where Warmth Meets Ruach: A nurturing environment that not only sparks a deep passion and joy for learning but also instills a strong sense of pride and belonging.
- Where Torah & Madda Are Holistically Integrated: Students connect learning to daily life through a well-rounded Torah U’Madda, Zionistic education.
With strong enrollment, a dynamic leadership team, and a supportive community, BMA is positioned for continued growth, and the CAO will play a pivotal role in that journey.
