Imagine a school kids run towards and a synagogue where all can come together for social justice, study, and Shabbat. Ever since SAJ introduced America’s first bat mitzvah in 1922, it has been reconstructing Judaism, wrestling with God, questioning tradition and expanding its boundaries to ensure that Torah remains relevant, engaging, and welcoming to all.
SAJ is hiring for a part time administrative assistant position. This critical member of the team will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment while performing administrative duties to allow SAJ to remain the vibrant, responsive and responsible community we are.
The administrative assistant’s hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2-6pm with the possibility of additional hours and increased flexibility in the summer months.
