PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER/OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Darchei Noam of Ambler, PA (suburban Philadelphia) is seeking a part-time, well-organized bookkeeper/office administrator. This is a hybrid position with flexible hours with one day a week minimum in person.

Position:

Part-Time Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

15+ hours a week

$25 an hour

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of membership and pledge records in ShulCloud (synagogue management system)
  • Record and process accounts receivable and cash inflows such as pledges, donations, tuition and fees and complete monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Manage accounts payable and process invoices
  • Record financial activities in Quickbooks, track budget vs. actual results and provide monthly reports to Treasurer
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage onboarding of new employees and maintain HR records
  • Order office supplies and monitor inventory
  • Track High Holiday registrations
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned

 

  Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably a non-profit organization or other synagogue
  • Shulcloud and QuickBooks experience or willingness to learn
  •  Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
