Hybrid: 3–4 days in person in Jenkintown, PA

Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant/Designer is a full-time staff member who reports directly to the Director of Marketing. The Assistant will play a key role in supporting strategic marketing initiatives and elevating the Gratz brand through digital and print communications. The ideal candidate combines graphic design skills with digital marketing savvy and enjoys working collaboratively with multiple departments in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:

Maintain the gratz.edu website, using SEO best practices

Graphic Design & Visual Communications
Assist the Director of Marketing with the design of visually compelling digital and print assets, including flyers, invitations, event materials, email graphics, slideshow presentations, certificates and social media content.

Digital Marketing & Content Management

Support the Director of Marketing with creating evergreen web content, including blogs, news updates and event recaps

Design and create email blasts and manage lists in email marketing software

Maintain Gratz YouTube channel

Create and schedule social media content across Instagram and Facebook
Qualifications & Competencies
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in marketing, design, or digital communications.

Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required (Photoshop, InDesign). Canva experience helpful.

Experience with social media platforms and content management tools

Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal or FinalSite).

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments, as well as independently

Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends for events

Preferred:
- Experience with email marketing platforms, preferably Constant Contact
- Photography and video-editing experience
- Experience in a higher education or nonprofit environment
