 Akiba Yavneh Academy

Personalized Learning Coach (Judaic Studies)

(On-site, Dallas, Texas)

Akiba Yavneh Academy is a Modern Orthodox, co-ed, early childhood through 12th grade college-preparatory school dedicated to providing an academically excellent and values-based General and Judaic education to Jewish students of all backgrounds to inspire a lifelong love of Torah, higher learning, and the State of Israel. Although the school began sixty years ago, AYA is completing the first year of a major transformation to radically improve education outcomes and cost efficiency.  In many ways, AYA will be a new school with a new model that seeks to set the standard for excellence and affordability in Jewish day school education.

AYA is seeking a year-round Personalized Learning Coach who will provide instructional support and coaching related to leveraging blended and project-based learning to personalize learning opportunities for students. This position will serve as the instructional leader for K-8 Judaic Studies curriculum and will directly support K-8 Judaic Studies teachers as they transition from a traditional instructional model to personalized learning.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a major transformation that aims to better support teachers as well as ensure students are receiving one-size-fits-one instruction. This work has the potential to impact the larger field of Jewish day school and innovation in K-12 education.
