Job Title: Office Manager

Position Overview: The Office Manager supports the Head of School, Advancement Director, Admissions Director, Camp & Event Center Director, Business and Operations Director, and the Board. This role is crucial for managing daily operations, addressing student health needs, and overseeing administrative tasks for various school programs, contributing to campus safety and security, as well as summer and school break camp activities.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Executive Assistance: Provide administrative support, manage calendars, prepare reports, coordinate events, and assist with donor stewardship activities. Organize board meetings and support affinity groups.
  • Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, manage communications, maintain supplies, and implement security measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the office space.
  • Student Health Management: Administer first aid, maintain health records, communicate with parents and healthcare providers, manage medications, and prepare necessary documentation for student health needs.
  • Program Support: Assist with Summer Camp, Enrichment Classes, and School's Out Camp logistics, manage incident reports, and coordinate with staff for scheduling and communication.
  • Communication and Coordination: Handle phone inquiries, manage attendance records, oversee bus routes, and maintain school-wide calendars. Collaborate with parents and teachers on various needs.
  • Documentation and Records: Support advancement efforts with donation management, maintain student and staff records, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in an executive assistant, office manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Judaism and Jewish culture.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and relevant software.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Hebrew language proficiency is a plus, but not required.
  • Childcare/Classroom Experience a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work required, 12-months
  • Interaction with a diverse group of students, parents, staff, and visitors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
