Congregation Rodfei Zedek (CRZ) is a growing synagogue on Chicago’s Southside, in the heart of Hyde Park. It is a diverse, approachable, innovative, and multi-faceted community with both traditional prayer services and innovative trans-denominational spiritual offerings. We have a new building where community members are just as likely to be eating at our chef driven pop-up dinners as they are to be playing basketball or participating in our weekly Shabbat experiences. We are buoyed by 150 years of serving and creating community, yet we are nimble, continuing to innovate to meet the spiritual, emotional, and communal needs of those who walk through our doors - and those who have not yet walked through our doors.
We are looking to continue to grow our dream team! We are adding to our leadership team to continue our growth and support the momentum that our communal engagement has had over the past few years. This strategic new role will be essential in our efforts to continue to stay ahead of the changing landscape of synagogues and Jewish life.
The Chief Strategy Officer works collaboratively with the clergy and the other staff, the Board of Trustees, lay leaders, and members of the congregation to ensure that CRZ continues to thrive, both financially and spiritually. The Chief Strategy Officer will be responsible for all administrative affairs of the synagogue including staff, finances, facilities, and some membership relations.
