Hebrew school teacher

North Fork Reform Synagogue seeks a Hebrew school teacher to instruct a group of approximately 7 children one afternoon per week. In coordination with the Rabbi, the Hebrew school teacher will also provide instruction for a B'nai Mitzvah student, in areas such as leading a service independently and writing a D'var Torah. The Hebrew school teacher will also be responsible for providing a children's service during the High Holy days. Each weekly class wil be three hours long, with extra hours as needed for a B'nai Mitzvah student. All classes go from September to June. Salary will be $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
