We are searching for a short term, part-time Elementary Hebrew language instructor with the potential for a full time position if the candidate is the right fit.

Essential Job Functions
Take over the instruction, lesson planning, and evaluation of assigned Hebrew classes during the parental leave of our current teacher
Focus on the three pillars of second language instruction: reading, writing, and speaking
Incorporate project based learning as appropriate while following the curriculum we use: TalAm for K-2nd grade; Haverim B’Ivrit for 3rd - 5th grade
Part-time/ possibility to become full time
A bachelor's degree is required, master's degree is preferred
At least one year of classroom experience required; two or more years preferred
Hebrew fluency at a native level
Embodies a growth mindset and able to build positive relationship with students, families, and colleagues
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to teach on campus (Foster City) following all COVID policies including proof of current COVID and flu vaccinations
