The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Phoenix (JCRC) is offering a Communications and Public Diplomacy Fellowship opportunity for the Summer/Fall for recent graduates.
The JCRC conducts advocacy, interfaith outreach, and community bridge-building on behalf of the Jewish community. The fellowship will offer training in communications, social media outreach, and communal leadership.
The Fellow will engage in research, meeting reports, writing blog articles, bylined or ghost-written newspaper articles, press releases, letters, and social media messages, as well as other projects to be determined.
Candidates should be college graduates who are interested in communications, journalism and/or communal leadership. The fellowship is virtual, and the candidate should expect to work from home. Successful candidates will be independent self-starters who are strong writers, and can use such platforms as Microsoft Word, Twitter and Facebook.
Time commitments entail 10-12 hours per week for three months, with the possibility of an extension. This is a paid fellowship.
