The Role

Lost Tribe is seeking a full-time Social Media Video Editor — someone who lives and breathes internet culture, knows how to craft a scroll-stopping hook, and can cut videos that make people laugh, feel, and share.

You’ll play a key role on our core content team: ideating new series, editing at lightning speed, and shaping the tone of modern Jewish storytelling online. From Jewish comedy to person-on-the-street interviews to POV sketches, you’ll help define what the next generation of Jewish media looks like.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and publish high-quality, trend-aware short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Collaborate in daily creative brainstorms to develop new content series and social-first ideas
• Write scripts, captions, and creative copy aligned with Lost Tribe’s tone and mission
• Work fast — editing and posting quickly to stay relevant to trends and cultural moments
• Contribute to branded projects, creator collaborations, and community campaigns
• Maintain a high bar for storytelling, pacing, humor, and visual polish

You Are

• Deeply in tune with internet culture — Jewish and otherwise
• Passionate about storytelling and creative expression
• Obsessed with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Quick, clever, and hungry to grow in a fast-moving creative environment
• Excited to be a key voice in shaping Lost Tribe’s content identity

Requirements

• Experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and CapCut
• Strong understanding of trends, hooks, and retention mechanics
• Comfort editing independently and collaborating across a creative team
• Fast turnaround mindset — you get that timing is the algorithm

Bonus Points

• Comfortable being in front of the camera or filming on iPhone
• Experience with long form or YouTube editing
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (Sora, Runway, Veo 3, Midjourney, etc.)
• A natural sense of humor and love for Jewish culture and community
