Role Overview

Hillel International seeks an inaugural Senior Vice President, Campus Solutions (SVP, CS) to lead and scale Hillel’s work with university administrations and campus stakeholders ensuring Jewish students experience consistently inclusive, welcoming environments. As a member of the senior leadership team, the SVP will report to the COO, with a dotted line to the CEO.

The SVP will oversee several of Hillel’s flagship programs addressing antisemitism and campus climate, notably building out its newest offering Hillel Campus Partners which will provide more in-depth campus support to address issues such as faculty governance, student conduct, security, and overall campus culture.

This role builds on two years of urgent response to unprecedented campus challenges—including a 700% increase in incidents in 2023–2024 and continued bias in 2024–2025—during which Hillel strengthened security, pressed administrators to enforce codes of conduct, pursued Title VI remedies, empowered student leaders, and provided safe, supportive Jewish community.

What You’ll Do

Program Management, Coordination, & Development

  • Manage and collaborate with Hillel professionals to foster a campus climate inclusive of all Jewish students through student advocacy and support, community relations, and real-time solutions.
  • Integrate and innovate a growing portfolio of initiatives educating campus leaders about contemporary antisemitism and guiding prevention, response, and policy implementation— delivering coordinated, measurable results.
  • Launch and refine a consultative initiative for campus partners, working closely with the incoming Executive Director to set standards, align with cohort-based work, and position the team for success.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Alignment

  • Partner closely with faculty-focused efforts to increase capacity by collaborating with aligned organizations operating in this domain.
  • Convene and align communal partners to maximize impact and minimize negative effects for Jewish students that can result from a lack of coordination.

External Representation & Engagement

  • Represent the Hillel movement at meetings, convenings, and other settings focused on campus antisemitism.
  • Supplement the external presence of the CEO, General Counsel, and other members of senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

Hillel seeks an experienced manager, operator, and strategist who excels at coordinating programs, identifying scalable solutions to urgent needs, and driving outcomes in complex settings. This leader brings a high EQ and communicates effectively with key internal and external stakeholders and partners. Informed by a deep sense of mission, the SVP is forward-looking—anticipating emerging campus needs—and will lead with an innovative spirit, empathy, and resolve on behalf of Jewish students.

The SVP will bring:

  • 15+ years of senior leadership across program management, consulting, product development, and/or adjacent settings.
  • Demonstrated success piloting, scaling, and managing initiatives with a record of delivering results in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
  • Proven team leadership and talent development experience, including hiring and leading high-performing, collaborative teams and building a culture of accountability and support.
  • Cross-sector collaboration skills, credibility, clear communication, and executive presence to partner effectively with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Higher-education domain knowledge, including how decisions are made and enforced across student affairs, provost/academic affairs, residential life, and general counsel.
  • Deep alignment with Hillel’s mission and commitment to combating antisemitism; experience addressing campus-climate challenges and implementing solutions is a plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This role may require domestic and international travel multiple times per year.

What You’ll Receive

  • The salary range for this role is $220,000–$260,000, commensurate with experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, Life, AD&D and Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurances, Flexible Spending accounts, generous vacation/sick time, and parental leave.
