DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Professional Human Resources (HR) leadership is imperative to ensure Residents receive the best care and service …you will always be held accountable for exercising your best judgment which, indirectly or directly, influences the care and service provided to Heritage Pointe Residents.

Heritage Pointe is committed to finding a dedicated, experienced, and credentialed HR professional upon whom our organization can depend.

This non-profit company employs approximately 100 workers, a combination of full-time and part-time.

Heritage Pointe is located in Mission Viejo, CA and not currently offering a relocation allowance for this position.  This position is not designated for telecommuting.

List of Key Skills, Experience, and Education (to name a few):

  • 8-10 years progressive experience in Human Resource Management, required
  • 3-5 years successful experience in leading an HR department, required
  • Certified HR expertise through HRCI or SHRM, required
  • Experience implementing outsourced payroll , applicant tracking systems, training management system, and/or other HRIS, preferred
  • Experience drafting, implementing, monitoring, and training on new/amended Policies and Procedures, required
  • Experience in benefits administration to include, but not limited to: plan/carrier/broker recommendations, open enrollment, and Employee assistance, required
  • Experience in Workers’ Compensation to include but not limited to: plan/carrier/broker recommendations; claims administration; early return to work programs; and effective reduction in claims, reserves, and premiums, required

COVID-19 considerations:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year DOE

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Bachelor’s  degree, in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relation, Business Management, Business Administration, or similarly equivalent, required
  • HR certification with HRCI or SHRM, required
