SYNAGOGUE EMANU-EL KIDS (SEEK) PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Position Overview:
Synagogue Emanu-El Kids (SEEK) program is seeking 3-4 energetic program assistants to organize and execute our SEEK Program on Shabbat morning services on specific Saturdays as scheduled, either weekly or on a rotation basis.

Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays, the SEEK Leader will facilitate age-appropriate prayer, Torah, and Shabbat related activities for the participants outside of the main Sanctuary.

At approximately 11:45, the SEEK Leader will lead the participants up to the Sanctuary for the conclusion of Sanctuary services.

The SEEK Leader(s) will coordinate planning of the service and activities with the Rabbi and Director.

The ideal candidate has experience working with children and familiarity with Traditional-Egalitarian Shabbat liturgy and Torah reading.
