Ganeinu Academy is a Jewish Day School dedicated to experiential learning and providing a quality Judaic and Secular Studies education. We are looking for a highly motivated 1st Grade Elementary Lead teacher to inspire and be part of a great team. Our model incorporates STEAM/Project Based Learning and small group instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a standards-driven curriculum 
• Create a positive, student-centered learning environment ·

  Build strong, open communication with children, families and staff

• Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior using electronic portfolios
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

Lead Teacher will need:

   Bachelor’s degree and teaching experience in a K-2 classroom required, Master’s Degree and/or specialization in Reading and Literacy Preferred

   Minimum 2 years teaching in a K-2 classroom

• Strong organizational and collaborative skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good level of computer literacy
