Temple Beth-El in Jersey City, NJ, a growing and progressive Reform congregation in Hudson County, is seeking passionate and engaging Hebrew / Judaics teacher for our Sunday morning (9:30 AM -12:00 PM) religious school for the 2026 - 2027 (5787) school year. Our school day includes a clergy led service (community time), a rotating music specialist, and a mid morning snack.
Curriculum is set out by the religious school director however the teacher is able to use their creativity to work within the structure of said curriculum.
Pay is a range of $60.00 - $70.00 per hour based on experience.
