WHAT WE DO
At Jewish National Fund-USA, we turn vision and dreams into reality. For almost 125 years, we have built the land of Israel for its people. As one of the most trusted names in philanthropy, our mission is to attract 800,000 new residents to Israel's underpopulated North and South and to be the leading organization for Zionist engagement. We build schools, medical centers, culinary institutes, resilience facilities, emergency response centers, water reservoirs, parks, and playgrounds while creating employment and community service initiatives, along with youth development programs for thousands of young Israelis. We also support Israelis with disabilities, bring hundreds of college faculty members and student leaders beyond the Jewish community to Israel, invest in agricultural R&D, and host the largest gathering of Zionists in the U.S. annually at our Global Conference for Israel. All of this is accomplished as we embark on the largest philanthropic capital project in Israel's history—the $350 million, 16-acre World Zionist Village in the city of Be'er Sheva.
And yes, we also support tree planting. Since 1901, we have helped plant over 260 million trees in Israel, which enabled the country to be one of the few to enter the 21st century with a net gain in trees.
No project, program, or initiative stands alone. Through our circles of impact, everything we do contributes to job creation, economic growth, higher living standards, and more—helping us realize our goal of attracting new residents to Israel's North and South.
