The Website/Salesforce/Database Manager is responsible for the updates, maintenance and integration of the NCJW/Essex website and databases and provides basic in-house IT support. Reports to the Executive Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Website Administration:
• Update, design and create website content as requested in WordPress using Elementor
• Ensure the functionality of key website activities, such as events registrations and processing of payments/donations (
• Oversee implementation of SEO best practices
• Manage mobile optimization of website as well as update themes, plugins and other backend systems
• Ensure mitigation practices for OWASP top ten security risks
• Ensure the integration of data from the website to Salesforce
• Manipulate and optimize photos for website display
• Make recommendations for improvements
Salesforce Administration:
• Manage NCJW/Essex's Salesforce production and sandbox environments containing Non-Profit Starter Pack (Lightning Experience):
o Implement field, page layout updates
o Carry out data maintenance (deduplication, cleanup, load new data on occasion)
o Manage users
o Create/modify reports as needed
• Monitor and manage integration with Constant Contact (through Cazoomi) to keep contacts in sync
• Post and manage web forms on website within WordPress
• Maintain automated communications
• Provide training to end users as needed
• Maintain web forms for Events and Donations (using Formstack)
• Make recommendations for improvements
In-House Tech Support:
• Assist staff and volunteers with general computer, internet, website and database technical support
• Establish relationship with outside IT vendor (Bavelle) for more advanced IT issues
• Maintain computer and password records
• Make recommendations for improvements
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
• Provide support to the NCJW/Essex Board, members and other staff members as appropriate
• Follow all NCJW/Essex policy and procedures
• Professionally represent NCJW/Essex in the community

• 4-year degree preferred; however, relevant work experience will be considered
• 3 years’ experience with WordPress and modifying WordPress websites required, ideally with understanding of coding language
• 1 year Salesforce administration experience or other CRM preferred
• Salesforce Administrator certification a plus
• 1 year experience with Constant Contact or other mass-email communication platform
• Graphic creation and editing skills a bonus
• Strong computer, internet and technology skills
• Experience working with volunteers highly desirable
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including flexibility to handle multiple projects and frequent interruptions
• Ability to work independently and in concert with other staff members and volunteers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability, along with a passion for finding and implementing creative solutions
• Ability to take on new challenges and find solutions
• Energetic, creative and self-motivated
• Strong commitment to and passion for the mission of NCJW/Essex

Salary and Benefits:
This position is part-time at 24 hours/week. The starting wage is up to $28/hour. NCJW/Essex offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, a flexible spending account and 403B retirement plan to eligible part-time employees.
