Communications Coordinator (Part-Time, 25 hours/week)

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Communications Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be skilled in digital communications and comfortable managing multiple platforms to help us effectively engage with our community.  This position is onsite and requires regular presence. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create clear, visually consistent, and powerful messaging across all social media and print platforms
• Manage and update website to ensure content is current and engaging
• Design eye-catching flyers and graphics using the Adat Ari El Branding Guidebook 
• Create and schedule content across social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
• Manage all Constant Contact communications including newsletters and other communications
• Responsible for managing the Synagogue calendar, both internal and on the website. 

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency with social media platforms
• Experience with website management (content updates, layout adjustments, basic troubleshooting all within Schulcloud)
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Knowledgeable and able to work in Canva, Photoshop, INDesign, WordPress, and Constant Contact    
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a tech-savvy world
• BA in Journalism or Communications or working toward a degree
